To meet the health and social needs of drug and alcohol users, service provision requires the integrated delivery of all involved services.
 
Some women may feel valued only when pregnant, particularly those who are most isolated or vulnerable. Pregnancy can provide a window of opportunity for lifestyle changes and health improvement, with the child at the centre of the care plan.
 
This course explores the challenges and complexities of drugs, alcohol and women's health, and the best way forward in planning effective care within a multi-disciplinary framework.
