Drug use can have a big impact on people’s sexual experiences – for better or for worse – yet this is something that many people find difficult to talk about. This course will examine the relationship between the use of different drugs and sex, and explore effective and sensitive ways of talking to drug using clients about sex and keeping themselves safe.
  • To explore attitudes towards drug taking and sex
  • To explore the effects different drugs can have on sexual experiences
  • To consider age, gender and sexuality issues
  • To identify relevant set and setting factors
  • To explore sensitive and effective ways of talking to clients about sex and safer sex
